Removal
1. |
Raise and support vehicle. |
2. |
Remove front tire and wheel assembly. |
3. |
Remove front fender liner. |
4. |
Turn drive belt tensioner clockwise. |
5. |
Remove serpentine drive belt. |
6. |
Prevent crankshaft from rotating by
install harmonic balancer holder tool No. J38122A, or equivalent. |
7. |
Remove mounting bolt and crankshaft
balancer. Discard bolt. |
8. |
Remove front oil seal using suitable
flat bladed tool. |
9. |
Reverse procedure to install, using
camshaft front main seal installer tool No. J35268A, or equivalent. |
