when performing following procedure. |
| 1. |
Disconnect battery ground cable. |
| 2. |
Raise and support vehicle. |
| 3. |
Remove starter solenoid terminal nut. |
| 4. |
Remove positive battery cable terminal
from starter. |
| 5. |
Remove starter solenoid wire terminal
from starter. |
| 6. |
Disconnect engine harness connector
from starter. |
| 7. |
Remove starter bolts and starter,

Disconnect engine wiring harness electrical
connector from oil pressure switch. |
| 9. |
Remove engine oil pressure switch. |
| 10. |
Reverse procedure to install, noting
the following: |

a. |
Torque starter bolts to 30 ft.
lbs. |
| |
b. |
Torque starter solenoid terminal
nuts to 13 ft. lbs. |

Apply parking brake and place control
assembly in Neutral. Transaxle manual shaft must be in Neutral position
prior to installing range switch.

Ensure battery voltage is greater
than 12 volts prior to and during pinpoint test.

charger attached during vehicle testing.
