Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Front Bumper Impact Bar

Removal

1. Remove front bumper fascia as outlined in Front Bumper Fascia.
2. Remove bolts attaching front bumper impact bar to vehicle (1) Fig. 1.
3. Remove impact bar (2) Fig. 1.

Installation

1. Position front bumper impact bar to vehicle (2), Fig. 1.
2. Install impact bar attaching bolts (1). Torque to 22 ft. lbs.
3. Install front fascia as outlined in Front Bumper Fascia.
