Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Flushing

1. Remove expansion tube, if equipped.
2. Remove air compressor.
3. Install flush adapter to air compressor lines using universal flush adapter kit.
4. Install A/C flush machine lines and follow manufacturers instructions to flush system.
5. Remove air compressor drain plug, if equipped.
6. Drain oil from air compressor.
7. Add total system capacity of refrigerant oil to A/C system.
8. Install air compressor.
9. Inspect expansion tube for debris, if equipped. Clean or replace as required.
10. Remove flush adapter from air compressor lines, then connect lines to air compressor.
11. Install a new suction accumulator or receiver/drier.
12. Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
