Air Bag Systems
| Refer to "Air Bag System Precautions" on main menu selection for "Precautions." |
Battery Ground Cable
| Prior to service, disconnect battery ground cable and isolate as required. |
Electrical Service
| Because of the electronic system control and low system voltages, certain precautions must be taken to ensure accurate diagnosis and avoid system damage. Do not disconnect or connect electrical connectors with ignition On unless specifically instructed. Do not connect test equipment directly to the Engine Control Module (ECM), except where noted and never attempt to measure oxygen sensor output because the sensor will be damaged. |
