Raise and support vehicle using suitable
lift. |

Remove tire and wheel assemblies. |
| 3. |
Remove nut from outer tie rod ball
stud, loosen jam nut. |
| 4. |
Remove outer tie rod ball stud from
steering knuckle using suitable tool. |
| 5. |
Remove tie rod end from shaft, then
inspect inner tie rod shaft for bending or damaged threads. |
| 6. |
Reverse procedure to install, noting
following: |

a. |
Torque wheel lug nuts to 100
ft. lbs. |
| |
b. |
Torque tie rod end to steering
knuckle nut to 44 ft. lbs. |

be performed to confirm the presence of aftermarket components, potential
