Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Temperature Valve Actuator, Replace

The key should be in the OFF position when connecting the electrical connectors to ensure proper calibration.
1. Remove fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
2. Remove steering column filler panel.
3. Disconnect air temperature actuator electrical connector.
4. Remove air temperature actuator screws.
5. Remove air temperature actuator.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque temperature actuator screws to 19 inch lbs.
