Master Cylinder
| 1. |
On Vibe models, remove air filter
hose clamp and hose from throttle body. |
| 2. |
On all models, disconnect fluid
level sensor retainer and electrical connector. |
| 3. |
Drain master cylinder reservoir brake
fluid into suitable container. |
| 5. |
Disconnect master cylinder brake pipes.
Plug open pipes. |
| 6. |
Remove mounting nuts and master cylinder. |
| 7. |
Remove reservoir, as required. |
| 8. |
Reverse procedure to install. Bleed
hydraulic system as outlined in Brake System Bleed. |

Brake fluid is corrosive to painted
surfaces. Care must be taken not to allow brake fluid to come in contact
with painted surfaces on vehicle.
