Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Door Handle
Exterior
Front
| 1. |
Remove front door trim panel as outlined
in "Door Trim Panel." |
| 2. |
Remove front door water deflector. |
| 3. |
Remove three front door handle retaining
screws, Fig. 1. |
| 4. |
Disengage front door exterior handle
rod from door lock assembly, then remove door handle. |
| 5. |
Reverse procedure to install. |

Rear
| 1. |
Remove rear door trim panel as outlined
in "Door Trim Panel.". |
| 2. |
Remove rear door water deflector. |
| 3. |
Remove two rear door handle retaining
screws. |
| 4. |
Disengage rear door exterior handle
rod from door lock assembly, then remove door handle. |
| 5. |
Reverse procedure to install, torque
door handle to 89 inch lbs. |

Interior
| 1. |
Remove interior door handle retaining
screw. |
| 2. |
Disengage cable from interior door
handle. |
| 4. |
Reverse procedure to install. |
