Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Floor Console

1. Remove clips and floor console cup holder.
2. Remove mounting bolt and floor console armrest, Fig. 1.
3. Pull park brake lever up, then disconnect park brake lever opening trim plate retaining clips and cupholder, Fig. 2.
4. Remove floor console transmission shifter plate and disconnect electrical connectors.
5. Remove rear cupholder.
6. Remove floor console extensions, tilting forward to disconnect upper clips and hooks.
7. Remove mounting screws and center floor console, Fig. 3.
8. Reverse procedure to install, torque console armrest to 80 inch lbs.
