Front
| 1. |
Raise and support vehicle, then remove
tire and wheel assembly. |
| 2. |
Remove ball stud to steering knuckle
pinch bolt, then separate ball stud from steering knuckle. |
| 3. |
Remove control arm to rear frame bolt. |
| 4. |
Remove remaining control arm to frame
bolts, then the control arm from vehicle. |
| 5. |
Reverse procedure to install, tighten
ball joint to steering knuckle nut in four steps as follows: |

First step, torque nut to 37
ft. lbs. |
| |
b. |
Second step, loosen nut 3/4 turn. |
| |
c. |
Third step, torque nut to 37
ft. lbs. |
| |
d. |
Fourth step, tighten nut an additional
30°. |
| |
e. |
Torque ball joint to control
arm to 50 ft. lbs. |
| |
f. |
Torque control arm to front
frame bolts to 41 ft. lbs. |
