Removal
| 1. |
Disable Supplemental Inflatable Restraint
(SIR) system. |
| 2. |
Disconnect battery ground. |
| 3. |
Remove panels and components, as required. |
| 4. |
Remove front side door check link bolt
(2), Fig. 1. |
| 5. |
Support door before removing hinge
bolts (1) & (3). |
| 6. |
Disconnect electrical connector, if
equipped. |
| 7. |
With aid of an assistant, remove door. |

Installation
| 1. |
Transfer components from factory door
to service door. |
| 2. |
With aid of an assistant, support door
and carefully position to vehicle and align hinges to hinge pillar. |
| 3. |
Install front side door hinge upper
bolts (1) and lower hinge bolts (3), Fig. 1. |
| 4. |
Torque bolt to 26 ft. lbs. |
| 5. |
Connect electrical connector. |
| 6. |
Install front side door check link
bolt. |
| 7. |
Torque bolt to 15 ft. lbs. |
| 8. |
Install panels and components. |
| 9. |
Enable Supplemental Inflatable Restraint
(SIR) system. |
| 10. |
Connect battery ground cable. |
