Removal

Turn wiper switch to DELAY. |

Turn ignition OFF when wiper arms are
paused at bottom of wipe pattern. |

Remove wiper arm nut cover (1),

Remove wiper arm nut (2), Fig.

| 6. |
Remove wiper arm (3) from wiper pivot
shaft using wiper arm puller tool No. J-39637, or equivalent,

Installation
| 1. |
Install wiper arms onto wiper transmission
pivot shaft. |
| 2. |
Align wiper blade ends to alignment
dots in lower windshield blackout, Fig. 2. |
| 3. |
Install wiper arm nut (2) and hold
wiper arm blades to dots in windshield blackout while tightening
nut, Fig. 1.Torque nut to 18 ft. lbs. |
| 4. |
Install wiper arm nut cover (1),

Operate windshield wipers and inspect
for proper operation and alignment. |
