Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Blower Motor, Replace

Disconnect blower motor electrical
connector. |
| 2. |
Remove lower blower motor cover heat
stakes, Fig. 1, using small suitable chisel. |
| 3. |
Remove lower blower motor cover. |
| 4. |
Remove blower motor nuts. Fig.

| 5. |
Remove blower motor cup from lower
case by cutting through case between circular ribs, Fig.
3, around motor with a sharp utility knife. |
| 6. |
Release blower motor retaining tab,
then remove blower motor from cup. |
| 7. |
Reverse procedure to install. Torque
blower motor nuts to 21 inch lbs. |
