Chevrolet Cobalt Service & Repair Manual: Cabin Air Filter, Replace

1.	Open instrument panel glove compartment door. Access door for cabin air filter is located behind glove compartment.

2.	Tilt instrument panel glove compartment door down by squeezing in on each side of bin until door stops can be removed from tracks, Then lower glove compartment completely.

3.	Open cabin air filter door by reaching through the opening in rear of glove compartment and raising tab until door can be opened downward.

4.	Remove filter by sliding filter out of cabin air filter housing, Fig. 1.

5.	Reverse procedure to install. Ensure that air flow indicator is pointing downward.
